We get this question almost every week: “I see you have PVC, PP, and PET—what’s the actual difference, and which one should I order?”
Here is the honest answer from our production floor.
PVC is the classic. It’s incredibly clear, has a premium feel, and won’t yellow over time. If you are making high-end corporate reports or presentations, PVC gives you that polished, professional look. The catch? It’s not the most eco-friendly option out there.
PP is the tough guy. It’s waterproof, tear-resistant, and holds up beautifully to heavy daily use. It can be made in cool textures like twill line or matte. If your clients are schools or busy offices that need durable notebooks, PP is your best bet.
PET is the luxury option. It’s rigid, perfectly flat, and eco-friendly with no odor. It also handles high temperatures without bending. It’s fantastic for high-end menus or photo albums, though the price is a bit higher.
Our advice: Match the cover to the end-user. Standard office use? Go with PP. Premium pitches? Choose PVC. High-end photo albums? PET is the way to go. (And yes, we send free samples of all three if you want to feel the difference yourself.)
